Porsche Cayman R ~ 2011-
The Cayman R introduced the lightweight concept to the already popular Cayman range.
In classic Porsche style, power was tweaked just slightly over that of the Cayman S 3.4-litre engine, to give an extra 10bhp. Combined with the weight reduction, this gave a power-to-weight ratio of 255bhp per tonne (or 250bhp with the PDK).
This equated to a 0-62mph time of 5.0 seconds (4.7 with PDK and Sport Chrono) and a top speed of 175mph (174mph with PDK).
The Cayman R featured a fixed rear spoiler, black headlamp surrounds and mirror housings, plus retro-style Porsche side decals.
